Personal data protection

At the outset, it is important to say that we do not collect any data of a personal nature without your consent. However, for some functions and activities on the website, some data is necessary (for example, if you want to send us a message via a form, we need to know your email address, etc.).

The information we may obtain about you on our website at this time is the contact information you voluntarily enter in the contact form if you wish to contact us in this way. In addition, we may obtain the data you provide in the e-shop for the purpose of making a purchase. Alternatively, data from the registration of a user account if you choose to create one.

The data from the contact form is not collected or stored anywhere and is used solely to respond to your enquiry or request. We store the data from the e-shop or your user account in our secure database, which can only be accessed by our vetted employees. This data about our customers is stored in accordance with the applicable laws of the Czech Republic, in particular the Personal Data Protection Act No. 101/2000 Coll., as amended, and Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), known as GDPR.

As a buyer, you are informed before sending your order about the necessity of agreeing to the terms and conditions of BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o. Among other things, by concluding the contract, the buyer agrees to the processing and storage of his/her personal data in the database of BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o. These data are stored until BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o. decides to delete them or until the buyer requests their deletion.

As a buyer, you have all legal rights to your personal data. Customer personal data is stored in a secure database. Passwords for customer login to the e-shop are encrypted and no employee of BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o. or other third parties can read them or communicate their encrypted form. We do not provide customers' personal data to any third party. Only delivery data is provided to the contracted carriers to the extent necessary for the correct and smooth delivery of the goods to the customer.

What are cookies?

Simply put, almost none. We do not use any cookies with your sensitive data on our website. Paradoxically, we only use a cookie that stores the information that you allow us to use cookies (or consent to the processing of your data). We use so-called sessions for the functioning of the website and the e-shop. This means that information is temporarily stored in your browser, which is deleted as soon as you close your browser. The permanently stored data, as already described, is stored exclusively in a secure database.

Sending communications by e-mail (newsletter)

By agreeing to the relevant inquiry, the buyer agrees to receive news and marketing communications from BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o. to the e-mail address provided during registration. Neither is this e-mail address provided by BIK TEC inurbia s.r.o. to third parties under any circumstances. The customer may cancel the sending of these communications at any time via the direct link at the end of each e-mail communication. If the customer is registered (has a user account) on the biktec.net website, he/she can also turn off or on the sending of newsletters in his/her customer account settings.

Who processes and manages your data?

The processing of personal data is carried out exclusively by the controller, which is the company BIK TEC Inurbia s.r.o., ID No.: 06596479. The data are not provided to any other administrators or processors, i.e. any third parties.

What are your rights

Under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, you have the right to:

  • withdraw consent to processing at any time
  • ask us to tell you what personal data we process about you
  • request a copy of this data
  • request access to this data from us and have it updated or corrected, or request a restriction on processing
  • require us to delete such personal data
  • file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection or go to court
